Lorna Luft will join the previously reported Ashley Brown, Heather Headley, and Karen Olivo for the New York Pops concert on Friday, March 11 at 8pm. The concert will pay tribute to Luft’s mother, Hollywood icon Judy Garland. It will be conducted by the Pops’ music director Steven Reineke.
The concert will be a song-for-song re-creation of Garland’s 1961 Carnegie Hall debut, and feature signature Garland favorites such as “Over the Rainbow,” “The Trolley Song,” “Come Rain or Come Shine,” and “The Man That Got Away.”
