PBS will record an upcoming series of concerts featuring
Tony Award winners Jason Robert Brown and Anika Noni Rose, along with the Caucasian Rhythm Kings, to take place at New York City’s Henry Street Settlement, April 28-30 at 8pm. No broadcast date has been announced.

The concerts will include songs from Brown’s acclaimed musicals — such as Songs for a New World, Parade, The Last Five Years, and 13 — as well as his solo albums and upcoming projects.

Rose won the Tony for Caroline, or Change, and last appeared on Broadway in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. She will also appear in the upcoming New York Philharmonic concert presentation of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s Company. Her film credits include Dreamgirls, For Colored Girls, and The Princess and the Frog.
