Bryan Batt, Jerry Dixon, Harriet D. Foy, Frank Vlastnik, et al. Set for Becoming Tennessee Musical Reading

Full casting has been announced for a staged reading of the new musical, Becoming Tennessee, to be presented by The Directors Company at Baruch Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, March 2, at 7pm. Michael Parva will direct, with musical direction by Steven Ray Watkins.

Featuring book and lyrics by Michael Aman, with music by Clint Edwards, the show is about the early life and career of Tennessee Williams as he faces his blue devils in New Orleans’ steamy French Quarter in 1939.

In addition to the previously reported Bryan Batt, Jerry Dixon, Harriet D. Foy, and Brian Charles Rooney, the cast will include Derrick Cobey, Nicholas Galbraith, Douglas Lyons, Ereni Sevasti, Carly Street, and Frank Vlastnik.
