Kerry Butler, Christiane Noll, Christopher Sieber, et al. Set for Theatreworks USA’s Gala, Featuring Preview of New The Yellow Brick Road Musical

The lineup of performers has been announced for Theatreworks USA’s annual gala, to be held on Monday, January 31 at 6pm at the Pierre Hotel. DeMarco Morgan will host the event, which will raise funds to support the organization’s annual Free Summer Theatre event in New York City, as well as its other programs and productions.

The entertainment for the benefit will feature performances by Alex Brightman, Andréa Burns, Kerry Butler, Alexander Gemignani, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Christiane Noll, Courtney Reed, Gabrielle Ruiz, Christopher Sieber, and Grace Wall.

The program will be comprised of numbers by Theatreworks USA’s current and alumni writers such as Sam Davis, Mindi Dickstein, Jaime Lozano, Tommy Newman, Ryan Scott Oliver and Mark Waldrop. In addition, the entertainment will include a preview of Theatreworks’ 2011 Free Summer Theatre presentation, The Yellow Brick Road, a Latin American take on The Wizard of Oz.

A cocktail hour and silent auction, as well as dinner, will precede the entertainment and presentation of honors to Mike Perry, president & CEO of Crayola, LLC; and Tracy Anderson, creator of the Tracy Anderson Method.
