Stage and screen star Julianne Moore will be honored as the Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year at Harvard University, according to The Associated Press. She will receive her pudding pot at roast by Hasty Pudding Theatricals, to be held on January 27.
Moore has appeared on stage in The Vertical Hour on Broadway and Vanya on 42nd Street. She received Oscar nominations for Far From Heaven, The Hours, The End of the Affair, and Boogie Nights. She is also the author of the children’s book Freckleface Strawberry, which has been adapted into a musical that continues to run at New World Stages.
