Annette Bening, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Angela Lansbury, Jane Lynch, et al. Win Dorian Awards

The Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association has announced the winners of its Dorian Awards, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

FOX’s Glee has earned five awards. The show has been named both TV Musical or Comedy of the Year and LGBT-Themed TV Show of the Year. In addition, two of the series’ stars, Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch, have tied for the award for TV Comedy Performance. A fifth award – The We’re Wilde About You Rising Star Award – has been given to Darren Criss, who made his debut on the series this season.

The awards also recognize excellence in film and the Italian-language film I Am Love has been named Film of the Year and I Love You Phillip Morris, has been honored as the LGBT-Themed Film of the Year. Other film awards have gone to Annette Bening and the documentary Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work.

In addition, stage and screen legend Angela Lansbury has won the Dorian Timeless Award.
