New York City Ballet principal dancer Tiler Peck will join the Broadway cast of On the Town at the Lyric Theatre for six performances, taking on the role originated in this revival by her real-life sister-in-law, New York City Ballet principal dancer Megan Fairchild. Peck first reported the news on her Facebook and Twitter pages, and it was confirmed on Facebook with dates by lead producer Howard Kagan.

Peck will reportedly play the role of Ivy on March 3 (7pm), March 4 (2pm and 8pm), March 14 (2pm and 8pm), and March 15 (3pm). She is married to Fairchild's brother, fellow New York City Ballet principal Robert Fairchild, who will star in the new Broadway musical An American in Paris. Peck's theatrical credits include the recent Ahrens and Flaherty musical Little Dancer, directed by Susan Stroman, and Stroman's 2000 revival of The Music Man.

On the Town, which opened at Broadway's Lyric on October 16, features direction by John Rando and choreography by Joshua Bergasse in his Broadway debut. Tony Yazbeck, Jay Armstrong Johnson, and Clyde Alves lead the cast as sailors Gabey, Chip, and Ozzie, with Fairchild, Alysha Umphress, and Elizabeth Stanley as the women who steal their hearts. Supporting players include Jackie Hoffman as Madame Dilly, Michael Rupert as Judge Pitkin W. Bridgework, Allison Guinn as Lucy Schmeeler, and Phillip Boykin and Stephen DeRosa in a number of roles.
