Margo Seibert Cast in World Premiere of The Undeniable Sound of Right Now

The former ”Rocky” star takes on a role in Laura Eason’s new play at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater and Women's Project Theater will present the world premiere of The Undeniable Sound of Right Now, written by Laura Eason (Sex With Strangers, House of Cards) and directed by Kirsten Kelly. Performances will begin March 19 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater in advance of an April 2 opening and will run through May 2.

The play is described as follows: "It’s 1992. Hank is struggling to keep his legendary rock club going amid changing times and changing tastes. When his daughter starts dating a rising star DJ, Hank must contend with the destructive power of the next big thing — The Undeniable Sound of Right Now."

The cast will feature Daniel Abeles (Where We’re Born), Jeb Brown (Beautiful — The Carole King Musical), Chris Kipniak (Macbeth), Brian Miskell (The Hill Town Plays), Margo Seibert (Rocky), and Lusia Strus (Elling).

The creative team includes John McDermott (set design), Sarah Holden (costume design), Joel Moritz (lighting design), Lindsay Jones (sound design), and Judy Merrick (properties design).
