Lincoln Center Theater has confirmed that two-time Tony Award winner Patti LuPone will star in Douglas Carter Beane's Shows for Days, set to begin performances June 4 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. Jerry Zaks directs the comedy, which opens June 29.

Joining LuPone will be Michael Urie and Dale Soules. Urie plays Car, a 14-year-old Reading, Pennsylvania native introduced to the world of theater at his local community theater, the Prometheus, an organization led by Irene (LuPone), a force of nature who directs, designs, and stars in every play. Soules will play a featured member of the theatre troupe.

Urie and LuPone reunite for the first time after starring as son and mother on the ABC series Ugly Betty in 2007.

Shows for Days will have sets by John Lee Beatty, costumes by William Ivey Long, lighting by Natasha Katz, and sound by Leon Rothenberg. Additional casting will be announced.
