The Bank Street Theatre run of Labyrinth Theater Company’s production of Sunset Baby by Dominique Morisseau has been extended. The play, which is directed by Kamilah Forbes, was originally scheduled to close December 6 and will now run through December 15.

Sunset Baby looks at the collision of the personal and political when a former black revolutionary reappears in his estranged daughter’s life to collect a piece of her deceased mother’s legacy. The work premiered at London's Gate Theatre in September 2012.

The production stars John Earl Jelks, Harvey Gardner Moore, and DeWanda Wise.

The creative team features Lee Savage (scenic design), Esosa (costume design), Jen Schriever (lighting design), and Amatus (original music and sound design).
