Lea DeLaria to Host Lesbian Erotica Reading

Singer and comedian Lea DeLaria will host readings from Best Lesbian Erotica 2011, published by Cleis Press, at the December edition of the long-running reading series, Drunken! Careening! Writers!. The event will be held at KGB Bar on Thursday, December 16, at 7pm.

DeLaria, who was this year’s guest judge, picked 20 stories from the many submissions to the Lambda Award-winning anthology, and will read from her introduction and present readings by contributors Charlotte Dare, KikiDeLovely, D.L. King, Sinclair Sexmith and Xan West.

DeLaria’s stage credits include On the Town and The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told. She has released the CDs, Play It Cool, Double Standards, and The Live Smoke Sessions, as well as a new holiday album, Be a Santa.
