Pultizer Prize winner Margo Jefferson, sportswriter William C. Rhoden and historian Rob Ruck will participate in post-performance discussions in conjunction with Roger Guenveur Smith and Marc Anthony Thompson’s Juan and John, running December 1-20 at the Public Theater.

On Tuesday, December 8, Jefferson will talk with the Obie award-winning artists about their nearly two decades of creating theater together. On Tuesday, December 15, Andrew Hamingson, executive director of the Public, will moderate a panel on “Race and America’s National Pastime,” featuring Rhoden, Ruck, and Smith.

Set in 1965, Juan and John is a new work inspired by ancient themes: rage, retribution, and redemption.
