Actor Gene Barry Dies at 90
Barry appeared in numerous Broadway plays and musicals including The New Moon, Catherine Was Great, opposite Mae West, Bless You All, and The Perfect Setup. He also played President Richard M. Nixon in a 1982 Atlanta production of Watergate: A Musical.
Barry was best known for his television work, including starring in the series Bat Masterson, Burke’s Law, and The Name of the Game. He starred in the 1953 film War of the Worlds and made a cameo appearance in the 2005 remake.
He is survived by two sons, a daughter, two sisters, a brother, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
