Broadway's Grease to Close on January 4

The Broadway revival of Grease will close at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday, January 4 after a run of 31 previews and 554 regular performances.

This production, directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall, features the original book, music, and lyrics by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, plus four songs that were written by others for the 1978 film version: "Sandy," "Hopelessly Devoted to You," "You're the One That I Want," and "Grease." The production received a 2008 Tony nomination Award for Best Revival of a Musical.

The current cast is led by Derek Keeling as Danny, Ashley Spencer as Sandy, and Ace Young as Kenickie.
