Lamon, Linden, Noll, et al. Set for AMTSJ’s Little Shop of Horrors

Josh Lamon, Hal Linden, and Christiane Noll will star in the American Musical Theatre of San Jose’s production of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken’s musical Little Shop of Horrors, January 22-February 3. The production will be directed by Gabriel Barre.

Based on the movie of the same name, the show tells the story of Seymour (Lamon), who works in the Skid Row florist shop of Mr. Mushnik (Linden), who discovers a weird plant he names Audrey II. Soon his career and love affair with the downtrodden Audrey (Noll), thrive, but success comes at an awful price.

The cast also features Todd Alan Johnson, Michael Mandell, Gregg Rehrig, Izetta Fang, Kristin McDonald, and Adrienne Muller. The creative teams includes William Liberatore (music direction), Jean-Francois Revan (sets), Thomas G. Marquez (costumes), Derek Duarte (lighting), and Hage van Dijk (sound).

Lamon’s stage credits include Wicked, Godspell, and Sweeney Todd. Linden won the Tony Award for The Rothschilds and is best known for his work on the ABC sitcom Barney Miller. Noll’s stage credits include Jekyll & Hyde, Urinetown, and Frankenstein.
