Blazer, Ovenden, Page, Wopat, et al. to Play The Metropolitan Room

Broadway stars Judy Blazer, Julian Ovenden, Ken Page, and Tom Wopat will be among the performers appearing in January at The Metropolitan Room (34 West 22nd Street).

Wopat, whose Broadway credits include Annie Get Your Gun, Chicago, and Glengarry Glen Ross, will play the cabaret January 5-8; Ovenden, who stars as Joey in the Broadway revival of Butley, will appear with Paul Ford on January 8 at 10:30pm; Page, who starred on Broadway in Cats and Ain’t Misbehavin’ and appears in the film Dreamgirls, will present his show Page By Page, January 18-21; and Blazer, whose Main Stem credits include Titanic and Me and My Girl, will join songwriter John Meyer for Heartbreaker: A Memoir of Judy Garland, January 25-29.

Other performers scheduled to appear in January include Joy Behar, Mary Foster Conklin, Stevie Holland, Barb Jungr, Lina Koutrakos, Lorinda Lisitza, David Pomerantz, Annie Ross, and Thos. Shipley.
