Tony Award-winning actress Tonya Pinkins' new book, Get Over Yourself! How to Drop the Drama and Claim the Life You Deserve, will be released by Hyperion on January 11.

In the book, Pinkins takes the principles that have helped her to succeed and shows readers the techniques and exercises that can help them develop their own processes for obtaining their own goals.

Pinkins won a Tony Award for her performance in Jelly's Last Jam. She also received Tony nominations for her work in Caroline, or Change and Play On. Her other stage credits include The Wild Party, Chronicle of a Death Foretold, and Merrily We Roll Along. Pinkins plays Livia Frye on ABC's All My Children, and will take part in a special concert titled ABC Daytime Salutes Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS on February 6 at the New Amsterdam Theatre.
