The winners of the 2005 Nightlife Awards, celebrating the best in New York cabaret, comedy, and jazz, have just been announced. During the awards show, which is scheduled for Monday, January 31 at 7pm at The Town Hall, the honorees will perform rather than deliver acceptance speeches.

Yet to be announced are the winners in the Legends of Cabaret, Comedy, and Jazz categories. Selected by more than 20 writers covering the New York nightlife scene, the winners announced today are as follows:
