The Legacy of Reza Abdoh Set for Segal Center December 19

The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center will present the all-day event, The Legacy of Reza Abdoh on Monday, December 19.

The program will celebrate the legacy of legendary Iranian-American theatre artist Reza Abdoh, and include screenings, re-enactments, discussions, and reminiscences by Abdoh’s former collaborators.


Abdoh formed the company Dar A Luz in 1991, and created plays that made a major impact on American experimental theatre, including The Law of Remains (1992), Tight Right White (1993) and Quotations From a Ruined City (1994). He died of AIDS in 1995 at the age of 32.
