The Fartiste to Play Final Off-Broadway Performance November 27

The Fartiste will play its final performance at Sofia’s Downstairs on November 27. John Gould Rubin has directed the production, which has choreography by Richard Move.

With book by Charlie Schulman and music and lyrics by Michael Roberts, the show revisits the true story of French flatulist and entertainer Joseph Pujol, whose unique talents propelled him to being the highest-paid performer at the Moulin Rouge in 1890’s Paris.

The company features Nick Wyman, Lindsay Roginski, Herndon Lackey, Analisa Leaming, and Rachel Kopf, as well as sound effects artist Steven Scott.

The creative team includes Andrea Mincic (scenic design) and Kristina Makowski (costume design).
