A screening of the documentary The Sound of Mumbai: A Musical was held at NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts on November 8, and featured a live conversation with director Sarah McCarthy and Grammy Award winner and Broadway veteran Michael Feinstein.

The Sound of Mumbai: A Musical is one of four documentaries produced about contemporary India and is set to debut on HBO2 on November 23, 2011. It tells the story of the tenacious, musically inclined Indian street children who are enlisted to perform a concert with members of the elite Bombay Chamber Orchestra.

Among the guests at the screening was Tony Award winner Bebe Neuwirth.
