Joshua Hopkins Set for November 21 CD-Signing Celebrating Let Beauty Awake Release

Joshua Hopkins will participate in a CD-signing on November 21 on the promenade level of the David H. Koch Theatre following the final performance of Leonard Bernstein’s A Quiet Place, in which he is appearing as Junior. The event is being held to celebrate the release of Hopkins’ debut solo recital album Let Beauty Awake, now available for purchase and download.

The 24 track disc features four 20th-century song cycles: Vaughan-Williams’ Songs of Travel, Srul Irving Glick’s South of North – Images of Canada, Paul Bowles’ Blue Mountain Ballads, and Samuel Barber’s Three Songs, Opus 45.

Hopkins’ other credits include appearances with the Metropolitan Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Sante Fe Opera, and Arizona Opera, as well as concert engagements with Houston Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra, and National Symphony Orchestra.
