Freckleface Strawberry Cast to Perform at McDonald’s on 42nd Street November 4; Cast Album to Be Released November 15

Cast members from the Off-Broadway production of Freckleface Strawberry the Musical will perform songs from the show and sign autographs during a special appearance at McDonald’s on 42nd Street (between 7th and 8th Avenues) on Thursday, November 4, at 4pm.
The show tells the story of a seven-year-old girl named Strawberry who is desperate to get rid of or disguise her plentiful freckles and fiery hair so that her classmates will stop making fun of her.
The musical is based on the children’s books written by Julianne Moore and illustrated by LeUyen Pham. The show has music and lyrics by Gary Kupper, and a book by Gary Kupper and Rose Caiola. Buddy Crutchfield has directed the production, which features choreography by Gail Pennington Crutchfield.
In related news, the cast album for Freckleface Strawberry has been recorded and will be available first in the theater starting on November 15. Additionally, Julia Bray has joined the company in the role of Ballet Girl.
