Harlem Repertory Theatre Announces Full Casting for Flahooley

Full casting has been announced for the Harlem Repertory Theatre production of Flahooley, to play December 18-January 3 at Theater for the New City. Keith Lee Grant has adapted the piece and will direct and choreograph.

With an original book by E.Y. “Yip” Harburg and Fred Saidy, and lyrics by Harburg and music by Sammy Fain, the show focuses on what happens when an Arab sheik arrives a huge Midwestern toy company hoping to have his magic lamp repaired.

The company will feature Natalia Peguero, Yaritza Pizzaro, Alexandra Bernard, John Wiethorn, Primy Rivera, Daniel Fergus Tamulonis, Ben Harburg, Eric Myles, and Bianca Disarro.

The creative team includes Art Perlman (script editing), Daniel Fergus Tamulonis (puppet design), Michael Roth (musical direction and arrangements), Ann-Marie Wright (costume design), Mary Myers (scenic design), and Brian Aldous (lighting design).
