Lo Bianco’s LaGuardia to Return in December

La Guardia, a solo show about former New York City mayor Fiorello H. La Guardia starring Tony Lo Bianco in the title role, will return to the Dicapo Theater, December 4-13. The show, which is written and directed by Lo Bianco, recently concluded its initial run there.

The piece is an adaptation of the Broadway show Hizzoner, written by Paul Shyre and starring Lo Bianco, which was seen on the Great White Way in 1989. It takes place in 1945, on the last day of LaGuardia’s third term in office.
