Josie de Guzman Plays D-Lounge in Chemistry

Two-time Tony Award nominee Josie de Guzman is bringing her cabaret show Chemistry to The D-Lounge at the Daryl Roth Theater (101 East 15th Street), November 10-13.

Presented by INTAR and directed by Forbidden Broadway creator Gerard Alessandrini, the show features musical direction by Larry Yurman, who has conducted such Broadway shows as Les Misérables, Side Show, and Marie Christine.

de Guzman received Tony nominations for her performances as Sarah Brown in the 1992 revival of Guys and Dolls and Maria in the 1980 revival of West Side Story. Her other Broadway credits include Carmelina and Runaways. She has also recorded Nanas Para Todos, a CD of Spanish-language lullabies.
