After Midnight producers Scott Sanders and nine-time Grammy Award- and Pulitzer Prize winner Wynton Marsalis have announced the roster of Jazz at Lincoln Center All-Stars who will perform nightly at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in the new jazz-inspired Broadway musical. The 17 musicians featured in the band include Mark Gross, Godwin Louis, Daniel Block, Andrew Farber, and Kurt Bacher on woodwinds; Gregory Gisbert, Bruce Harris, Alfonso Horne, and James Zollar on trumpets; Wayne Goodman, Arthur Baron, and James Burton III on trombones; Adam Birnbaum on piano; James Chirillo on guitar; Jennifer Vincent on bass, and Alvester Garnett on drums.

After Midnight is a new production of Cotton Club Parade, which enjoyed two sold-out engagements at City Center. The musical celebrates Duke Ellington and his years performing at the legendary Cotton Club. The production plans to revive the Cotton Club's tradition of featuring weekly guest stars, presenting a series of notable artists in limited-engagement appearances throughout its run. The guest appearances will begin with American Idol and Broadway alum Fantasia (The Color Purple), followed by Grammy winner k.d. Lang and a collaborative appearance by multiple Grammy winners Toni Braxton and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds.
