Erik Jensen is taking over the role of Isaac in the LCT3 production of Disgraced, currently in previews at the Claire Tow Theater, with an opening set for October 22. He replaces Adam Dannheisser, who is recovering from an illness which forced him to withdraw from the production.

The play stars Daily Show favorite Aasif Mandvi as Amir Kapoor, a successful Pakistani-American lawyer who is rapidly moving up the corporate ladder while distancing himself from his cultural roots. The production, directed by Kimberly Senior, also features Heidi Armbruster, Omar Maskati, and Karen Pittman.

Jensen – who begins his run in the show tonight, October 10 – is perhaps best known to TV audiences for his portrayal of Thurman Munson in The Bronx is Burning. As a writer, he is best known as co-author (with wife Jessica Blank) of The Exonerated, which is currently receiving a 10th anniversary revival at The Culture Project.
