Reeve Carney and Patrick Page, who respectively star as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Norman Osborn/The Green Goblin in the Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, posed with Jacqueline Morelli, the latest individual to be honored as part of the musical’s “Everyday Heroes” initiative on Saturday, October 29.

Morelli is an English teacher at Horace Greeley High School in Putnam Valley, New York.

Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark is inspired by over 40 years of Marvel comic books. It follows the story of teenager Peter Parker, whose unremarkable life is turned upside-down when he’s bitten by a genetically altered spider and must learn that with great powers comes great responsibility.

The production features creative consultation by Philip William McKinley, original direction by Julie Taymor, music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge, and book co-written by Taymor, Glen Berger, and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
