Tony Award Nominee Norman Wisdom Dies at 95

British stage and screen star Sir Norman Wisdom died on Monday, October 4 at age 95.

Wisdom appeared twice on Broadway, in the musical Walking Happy, for which he received a Tony Award nomination as Best Actor in a Musical, and the play Not Now, Darling. He also worked in the West End.

His numerous film and television credits included Trouble In Store, for which he won a BAFTA Award, as well as Androcles and the Lion, The Night They Raided Minsky’s, Going Gently, and The Last of the Summer Wine.
