Jon Marans' hit-Off-Broadway play The Temperamentals may be made into a feature film, its star, Michael Urie, said in an interview with TheaterMania.com at the Times Center.

Urie, who stars as Marc St. James on ABC's Ugly Betty, also said there was a possibility the play might be remounted.

The play, which takes its title from the 1950s code word for homosexual, tells the story of communist Harry Hay and young Viennese refugee and designer Rudi Gernreich (played by Urie), founders of the pre-Stonewall gay rights organization, The Mattachine Society.
