Jazz Singer Laura Fygi to Star in Asian Premiere of Musical Victor/Victoria

Internationally renowned jazz singer Laura Fygi will play the title character in Victor/Victoria when it receives its Asian premiere at the Esplanade Theatre in Singapore, beginning performances on November 9. The production is staged by Zebra Crossing.

With a book by Blake Edwards, lyrics by Leslie Bricusse, and music by Henry Mancini, as well as Frank Wildhorn, the musical will also feature Jake Macapagal, Matt Grey,
Claude Girardi, Nicole Stinton, Shane Mardjuki, Gene Sha Rudyn, Bernie Chan, Daniel Boey, Jasmine Koh, Andrew Lua, Josephine Tan, and Eugene He.

The creative team will include Lisa Keegan (choreography), Tan Ju Meng (production design), Mac Chan (lighting design), and Laichan & Moe Kasim (costume design).
