Full cast and creative team have been set for the Center Theatre Group’s production of Alan Bennett’s The History Boys, to run November 7-December 9. The production, which will open officially on November 14, will be directed by Paul Miller, with original direction by Nicholas Hytner.

A hit in the West End, on Broadway — where it won six Tony Awards, including Best Play — and on film, The History Boys follows an unruly class of eight bright, funny, history students who, in addition to the pursuits of sex and sport, are anxious to achieve undergraduate admission to Oxford or Cambridge.

The cast will include John Apicella, Adam Armstrong, Ryder Bach, Alex Brightman, Charlotte Cornwell, H. Richard Greene, Cord Jackman, Sean Marquette, Dakin Matthews, Andrew McClain, Seth Numrich, Peter Paige, Ammar Ramzi, Demond Robertson, Brett Ryback, Edward Tournier, and Elizabeth West. The show will also feature production design by Bob Crowley, lighting design by Mark Henderson, and sound design is by Colin Pink.
