Michael Arden to Miss October 25 Performances of The Times They Are A-Changin’ Due to Flu

Michael Arden will miss both performances today of The Times They Are A-Changin’ and will be replaced by his understudy, Jason Wooten. Arden, who plays the lead role of Coyote in the show, has the flu. He hopes to return to the show tomorrow night, when it officially opens at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

The company also features Thom Sesma as Captain Ahrab, Lisa Brescia as Cleo, along with Tony Award nominee John Selya, Lisa Gadja, Neil Haskell, Ron Todorowski, Alexander Brady, John Herrera, Charlie Neshyba-Hodges, Alaine Kashian, Keith Kuhl, Marty Lawson, Jason McDole, Jonathan Nosan, Joseph Putignano, and Cary Tedder. The production features scenic and costume design by Santo Loquasto, lighting design by Donald Holder, and sound design by Peter Hylsenki.

Wooten’s previous Broadway credits include The Rocky Horror Show, Jesus Christ Superstar, Footloose, and Dance of the Vampires. He also appeared in the American premiere of We Will Rock You in Las Vegas.
