2006-2007 Tony Awards Nominating Committee Announced

Actress Joanna Gleason, playwright David Henry Hwang, and Tom Viola, president of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, are among the new additions to the Tony Awards Nominating Committee. Members of the committee attends all productions during the Broadway season and vote on the Tony Award nominees for that season. The 2006-2007 Tony Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 10 at Radio City Music Hall.

A full list of this season’s nominating committee follows; two asterisks denote new members starting three-year terms.
