Whoopi Goldberg to Join Sonny Fox for Paley Center Conversation

Oscar and Drama Desk Award winner Whoopi Goldberg will appear at the Paley Center for Media to host Sonny Fox: Forty Years in Television: A Conversation with Whoopi Goldberg on Monday, September 24 at 6:30pm.

Fox will discuss his extraordinary life in media as a performer, including being host of the children television series Wonderama, as well as his work as an executive and consultant to the state department. He will also sign copies of his new book, But You Made the Front Page! Several surprise guests will also drop in to pay tribute Sonny.

Goldberg received a Drama Desk and Theatre World Award for her 1985 Broadway solo show Whoopi Goldberg, and has also starred on Broadway in Xanadu, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and Whoopi. She has won numerous awards during her career, including the Academy Award for her work in Ghost, a Daytime Emmy for her work as co-host of The View, and a Grammy Award.
