Natalie Douglas to Reprise Freedom Songs at Birdland on October 22

MAC Award winner and stage veteran Natalie Douglas will perform a special "Election Edition" of her hit cabaret show, Freedom Songs, at 7pm on Monday, October 22 at Birdland.

Douglas, who will be joined by musical director Mark Hartman, will sing such classic tunes as "Blackbird," "Now!" "Mississippi Goddman," "Freedom Day," and "I Am Woman."

She has won seven MAC Awards, and has also earned Backstage Bistro and New York Nightlife Awards, among her many honors. She has appeared in such venues as The Kennedy Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Rrazz Room, Symphony Space, and Feinstein's at Loews Regency.
