Barbra Streisand, Aretha Franklin, Liza Minnelli, Itzhak Perlman to Perform at Juilliard’s Marvin Hamlisch Memorial
The life and work of late composer Marvin Hamlisch will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 18 during an invitation-only memorial at Juilliard’s Peter Jay Sharp Theater (155 W. 65th Street).
Expected performers include Barbra Streisand, Aretha Franklin, Liza Minnelli, Itzhak Perlman, Lang Lang, Michael Feinstein, Chris Botti, Maria Friedman, Brian d’Arcy James, Carter Brey, Essential Voices USA, former cast members of A Chorus Line, and cast members of The Nutty Professor.
During the ceremony, the Juilliard School will announce scholarships named in his honor.
