T.V. Carpio, Deedee Magno Hall, Lea Salonga, et al. Set for Suites by Sondheim Gala

Updated casting has been announced for the Philippine Development Foundation benefit concert, PhilDev Celebrates Broadway: Suites by Sondheim, to be held at Alice Tully Hall on Monday, November 7 at 7:30pm. Victor Lirio will direct, with music direction by Tom Myron.

The evening’s concert will be devoted to the works of iconic American lyricist and composer, Stephen Sondheim. It will present musical numbers from Broadway shows such as Company, West Side Story, Saturday Night, Sweeney Todd, Anyone Can Whistle, A Little Night Music, Merrily We Roll Along, and Sunday in the Park with George.

The cast will feature Tony Award winner Lea Salonga as well as Joan Almedilla, Alan Ariano, Emy Baysic, T.V. Carpio, Angel Desai, Ali Ewoldt, Rona Figueroa, Lydia Gaston, Deedee Magno Hall, Adam Jacobs, Jose Llana, Orville Mendoza, Paolo Montalban, Emily Morales, Jennifer Paz, and Diane Phelan.

In addition, the company will include Aaron Albano, Marie France Arcilla, Ester Barroso, Billy Bustamante, Liz Casasola, Karl Josef Co, Marc dela Cruz, Ariel Estrada, Albert Guerzon, Joanne Javien, Brian Jose, Jaygee Macapugay, Mel Maghuyop, Jake Manabat, Adam Marcelo, JP Moraga, Lora Nicolas Catherine Ricafort, Enrico Rodriguez, Chris-Ian Sanchez, and Melissa Singson, along with the San Lorenzo Ruiz Choir.
