In March, NFT will present Court Martial at Fort Devens, written by Jeffrey Sweet and directed by Mary Beth Easley. The work is the story of four Black women in the US Army who were tried for mutiny during the last half of WWII. Trained as nurses, the women refused to do such tasks as cleaning latrines, mopping floors, and doing laundry and were court-martialed for their actions.
