Judy Kuhn to Launch New Workshop Series

Three-time Tony Award nominee Judy Kuhn will launch a new series of her Acting the Song vocal performance workshops, to be held at the Pearl Studios in New York City on October 17 and 18.
The focus of the class will be on interpretation and presentation with an emphasis on exploration and personalization of lyrics. Students will have the opportunity to work individually with Kuhn on songs of their own choosing. Additional workshops will be held in December.
Kuhn received Tony and Drama Desk nominations for her work in Chess, She Loves Me and Les Miserables. She received an Olivier Award nomination for her performance in Metropolis, with other credits including the original casts of Rags, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Two Shakespearean Actors.
