McDonald will present her trademark mix of show tunes, classic songs from movies, and pieces written expressly for her by leading contemporary composers.

McDonald is currently appearing the A.R.T. production of The Gershwins' Porgy & Bess, which will transfer to Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre on December 17. She won Tony Awards for her performances in Carousel, Master Class, Ragtime, and A Raisin in the Sun. In addition, she received Tony Award nominations for her work in Marie Christine and 110 in the Shade. She recently starred on ABC's Private Practice.
