Tony Award Nominee Rose Gregorio to Appear in Mario Fratti’s Trio

Tony Award nominee Rose Gregorio will star in Mario Fratti’s Trio, a triptych of one-act plays, to run October 7-24 at Theater for the New City. Stephen Morrow will direct the production, which will open officially on October 14.

Trio is comprised of the following one-act plays: Anniversary, in which a father sees his daughter once a year to celebrate a birthday; Missionaries, which focuses on a young priest who must defend his love for a young nun; and Blindness, which looks at a hero being celebrated for his military service in Iraq.

Gregorio earned both Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations for Michael
Cristofer’s The Shadow Box. Her other Broadway credits include A View From the Bridge and M Butterfly On television, she appeared as Helen Hathaway on ER.


Fratti’s credits include the Broadway production of Nine, as well as such plays as
The Cage, The Victim, Suicide, Return, Che Guevara, and Eleanora Duse..
