Robin Wright has withdrawn from a Broadway revival of Lanford Wilson's Talley's Folly, due to filming commitments, according to New York magazine.

Her co-star, Richard Schiff, is still attached to the production. An initial announcement said the show, to be directed by Marshall W. Mason, would be presented in Spring 2011 at a theater to be announced.

This Pulitzer Prize-winning play unfolds on the Fourth of July near the end of World War II as Sally Talley, the daughter of a prominent local family, is being courted by an unlikely suitor, Matt Friedman, a Jewish accountant from St. Louis.

The creative team will include John Lee Beatty (set), Jennifer von Mayrhauser (costumes), and Phil Monat (lighting).

Schiff's prior theater credits include Underneath the Lintel and he is best known for his Emmy Award-winning work as Toby Ziegler on NBC's The West Wing. He previously played his role in the McCarter Theatre's 2008 production of the play, which was also helmed by Mason.
