The Broadway production of Jersey Boys, at the August Wilson Theatre, celebrated its 2000th performance on Wednesday, September 15.

The musical is based on the life story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. With book by Academy Award-winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, the musical features dozens of the group’s popular hits, including “Walk Like a Man,” “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Oh What a Night,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You.”

The show currently stars Jarrod Spector (Frankie Valli), Matt Bogart (Nick Massi), Sebastian Arcelus (Bob Gaudio) and Dominic Nolfi (Tommy DeVito). Cory Grant plays Frankie Valli on Wednesday and Saturdaay matinees, while, as previously reported, Ryan Jesse will take over the role of Bob Gaudio beginning October 12.
