Lisa Brescia, Liana Hunt, Corey Greenan, and Clarke Thorell will join the Broadway cast of Mamma Mia! in the roles of Donna Sheridan, Sophie Sheridan, Sky, and Harry Bright, respectively, beginning with the Friday, October 22 performance at the Winter Garden Theatre.

The musical, which is in its ninth year at the Winter Garden Theatre, uses the songs of ABBA. It follows the story of a forty-something mother planning her daughter’s wedding — unaware that the girl has invited three men who might be her father. The show has music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, is written by Catherine Johnson, and directed by Phyllida Lloyd.

The cast will continue to feature John Dossett (Sam Carmichael), Patrick Boll (Bill Austin), Judy McLane (Tanya), and Gina Ferrall (Rosie).

Brescia’s Broadway credits include playing Elphaba in Wicked, Amneris in Aida, Cleo in The Times They Are A-Changin’, and Marion Halcombe in The Woman in White. Hunt comes to the Broadway production directly from the national tour, where she also played Sophie. Greenan has previously played the role of Sky on the national tour, and has been part of the musical’s Broadway ensemble. Thorell’s Broadway credits include Hairspray, Titanic, and The Who’s Tommy.
