FOX’s September 28 Glee Episode, with John Stamos and Britney Spears, Draws Record Rating

The September 28 episode of FOX’s Glee drew the show’s highest-rating ever, attracting 13.3 million viewers and a 5.8 preliminary adults 18-49 rating.
Britney Spears , whose music was featured throughout the show, made a guest appearance on the episode. In addition, Broadway vetaran John Stamos made his first appearance as Dr. Carl Howell; his character will recur throughout the season.
The cast for the series also features Matthew Morrison, Lea Michele, Jane Lynch, Cory Monteith, Mark Salling, Jessalyn Gilsig, Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Jayma Mays, Heather Morris, Naya Rivera, and Jenna Ushkowitz.
