Casts of Avenue Q, The Flying Karamazov Brothers, Power Balladz and More Set for Third Avenue Street Fair September 12

Cast members from the Off-Broadway hits Avenue Q, The Flying Karamazov Brothers and Power Balladz will be among the performers at the 35th Annual Third Avenue Community Benefit Street Fair, to be held on Sunday, September 12 from 11am – 5:30 pm.

TheaterMania and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce have joined forces to present Broadway and Off-Broadway stars performing on stage and an entire block of entertainment, with events to take place on Third Avenue between 74th and 75th Streets.

Comedian Ray Ellin will host the stage show, which is scheduled to take place between 12:30pm and 3:30pm. Additional performers will include cast members from the NYMF musical Frog Kiss, starring Curtis Holbrook and Hanley Smith, and the children’s musical Freckleface Strawberry (based on the book by Julianne Moore), as well as representatives from Little Orchestra Society, Hip Hop Theater Festival’s Olive Dance Theater, Manhattan Youth Ballet, Eight Is Never Enough Improv, TADA! Youth Theater, and Rockstar Karaoke.

Throughout the day, attendees can visit booths from over 30 of New York’s most prestigious theater companies and receive information on numerous shows. Participants will include Roundabout Theatre, Hip-Hop Theatre Festival, Vineyard Theatre, the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF), the New York Philharmonic, Mind the Gap Theatre, New Victory Theater, Davenport Theatricals, Little Orchestra Theater Society, Castillo Theatre, York Theatre Company, Ma-Yi Theater Company, Alexander Markov at Carnegie, Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Flea, Primary Stages, Tada Theater, Vineyard Theatre, Discovery Times Square Exposition’s King Tut, New York Theatre Workshop, Eight is Never Enough Improv and The Flying Karamazov Brothers.
