The documentary will include never-seen-before performances and interviews from Latino artists including Celia Cruz, Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Fania All-Stars, and Juanes.
Smits' stage credits include Anna in the Tropics and Twelfth Night. He is currently part of the cast of Showtime's Dexter; his many other television credits include Cane, The West Wing, and NYPD Blue.
