F. Murray Abraham to Narrate Lincoln Centers Don Quijote de la Mancha: Romances Y Musicas

Academy Award winner F. Murray Abraham will narrate Don Quijote de la Mancha: Romances Y Musicas, directed by Jordi Savall, at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theatre at 7:30pm on Monday, October 20.

The concert will also feature soprano Montserrat Figueras, instrumental ensemble Hesperion XXI, and vocal group La Capella Reial de Catalunya. Savall will also participate in a post-performance discussion.

The event is part of a series called New Visions: The Literary Muse, which will also feature Peter Sellars’ Kafka Fragments, starring Dawn Upshaw, November 12-14 at John Jay College, the U.S. premiere of the National Theatre of Great Britain’s production of Katie Mitchell’s Waves, based on the novel by Virginia Woolf, November 12-22 at the Duke on 42nd Street; and the Mark Morris Dance Group’s Romeo & Juliet, On Motifs of Shakespeare, May 15-16.
